Glenalmond, founded in 1847, is one of Scotland's leading independent schools. The campus comprises a mixture of Victorian Tudor-Gothic and contemporary buildings located in the midst of 300 acres of beautiful countryside. Excellent facilities give the students the opportunity to try out a very wide range of sports and there is a particular emphasis on football, hockey, golf and the arts. The school's location gives it unrivalled access to outdoor pursuits and extra-curricular activities but also provides easy access to the cities Edinburgh and Glasgow.
