St Leonards is based in St Andrews, the home of golf, and next to the internationally renowned University. St Leonards is the only school in Scotland to concentrate 100% on the IB in the Sixth Form. 2016 marked the 10th anniversary of the IB at St Leonards.

A wide variety of extra-curricular activities, including golf on outstanding courses, are available to the students.

At St Leonards Golf coaching takes place at the nearby St Andrews Links Golf Academy. Throughout the year, fixtures are arranged against other schools and pupils have the chance to represent the School in competitions. Those demonstrating a talent for the game may be invited to join the St Leonards Golf Programme.
