Uppingham School
Uppingham is one of few places that can declare itself a truly full boarding school. Of the School’s roll of 795, all but a handful are full boarders.
The school is located in the small market town of Uppingham. It is a highly traditional school and the House System plays a central role.
Renowned for music and strength in the performing arts, there is also a strong sporting tradition. In March 2011 Lord Sebastian Coe officially opened the school’s state of the art sports centre.
The school achieves strong academic results (2012 A-level: A*-B = 86.1%).
