In August 2022, I spent two weeks at the Brooke House Summer School in Market Harborough.
I didn’t know what to expect at the Brooke House Summer School, as it was my first time doing something like this.
Since I experienced so much in those two weeks, I’ll try to capture the very best moments. When I arrived, I was a little nervous, but the staff and the Summer School director were so kind and made sure all my needs were met. I quickly felt very comfortable.
The three hours of classes in the morning were excellent preparation for the small test at the end of the two weeks.
Every afternoon, and often in the evenings, there were different activities to choose from. Sometimes, it was tough to decide because there were so many amazing options. My favorites were playing tennis, painting mugs, and the fun team challenges in the evenings. The outings on Wednesday afternoons and weekends were also wonderful.
The most unforgettable experience for me was visiting the Harry Potter Studios in London.
During my time there, I met many lovely girls. I became friends with a Romanian and a Spaniard.
The entire organization was fantastic, and even my request for a room change was immediately accommodated. It was great to see how independent I had become.
I’d love to do it again!
