Founded by the Benedictine monks of Worth Abbey, the school is set in 500 acres of beautiful countryside, yet just 15 minutes from Gatwick Airport and 30 miles from London. Worth’s values-led education encourages pupils to be ambitious, to strive for academic success and to develop a love of learning. Having opened a new £6m Sixth Form Centre and Library in 2022, a £2.5m Science extension was completed in June 2025. Worth was named Boarding School of the Year in October 2024.

Academic

Every year we are delighted by the success of Worth pupils at GCSE, A Level and International Baccalaureate Diploma, and the value-added is exceptional. In 2025, our GCSE results were some of the best the School has ever achieved, our A Level results were hugely impressive and our IB average was the best since 2017. About one third of pupils take the IB Diploma at sixth form and in 2025 a number of students achieved 40 points or more. A score of 38 or more is the equivalent to five A grades at A Level.
