Worth School

Worth School Main School and Campus
A vibrant, independent school for 11 to 18 year olds, set in glorious countryside and with Benedictine values at its heart.
"Education with heart and soul"

Founded by the Benedictine monks of Worth Abbey, the school is set in 500 acres of beautiful countryside, yet just 15 minutes from Gatwick Airport and 30 miles from London. Examination results have been excellent in recent years with almost two thirds of all GCSE grades awarded to Worth students in 2021 being A * - A (or 7, 8 or 9). IB and A Level results have been similarly impressive. A new Sixth Form Centre and Library was opened in April 2022.

Academic

Every year we are delighted by the success of Worth pupils at GCSE, A Level and International Baccalaureate Diploma, and the value-added is exceptional. In 2021, the school celebrated its best ever set of A Level results, with 58% of grades at A-A and 80% A-B, with a 100% pass rate. In 2022 one third of students taking the IB Diploma gained a points average in excess of 40 points, which represents an increase on the previous year. A score of 38 or more is the equivalent to five A grades at A Level.
