Shiplake is a small but very well-established school based in Henley-on-Thames. The school’s location on the river, and the influence of the Henley Royal Regatta, gives Shiplake a strong tradition in rowing and enables it to compete with the very top schools in the country.

Shiplake now offers summer training camps for novice and improving rowers. Utilising the College’s excellent facilities, the week-long camps offer expert coaching and comprehensive tuition to ensure that all participants are able to significantly develop their skills and rowing technique.

On Friday afternoons there are races. Parents are welcome, and indeed encouraged, to come and watch. This is a great opportunity for the rowers to demonstrate the excellent progress they have made over the course of the week.
